Hello, I wonder if someone would know how I can do something like this at home by my self. With less RGB LEDs strips and I would like to be able to use video as live feed for these LEDs.

What size are you thinking? Maybe how many LEDs?
Yes, live video could be fed to the LEDs. However I don’t think many people in the FastLED group here have done that so it might be hard to find examples. It’s not the typical use for the FastLED library and the might be better options depending on the size of your build. External software would need to be used to decode a video steam and send RGB data to the microcontroller.
