I need to run a 60-meter WS2811. 20 Chip 60 Led.

I bought Arduino Mega.

I work with Resolume.

The code I’m using does not work after 168 pixels.

How can I do it ?

  1. For that length, you’re going to need to add in some voltage injection points.

Each LED drops the voltage a bit. IIRC, it’s about 20mv per color or 60mv per LED at full bright. 168*60mv=approx 10v in drop.

What this means is that about every 160 pixels, you’ll need to run another power input to the strip.

Googling ‘LED strip power injection’ will probably find you better instructions than I can give at the moment, and explain the theory better.

I’m unfamiliar with resolume, so I can’t speak to the coding or configuration.
