HELP! I have this router Bosch POF500A, wich is attached to my cnc machine. I want to replace the chuck (part 4 on the 2nd image). I tried to get it off but it is stuck to the shaft of the motor.
I tried heating the chuck with a blow torch (to expand it) but still no movement.
Can anyone tell me how to get the damn thing off?

I have the Chinese knockoff of this router. I didn’t know Bosch made one. Someday I should get the Bosch model to replace it. My Chinese router like this is pretty done now. I used it a lot. Mine has a spindle lock that I have to engage to loosen the collet. You did not include the parts list, so I cannot tell on the exploded view if yours has a spindle lock, or if it does what number the part is.
It does. But the collet is not my problem. It is the entire chuck/head i want to get off.

The spindle taper the collet sits in is likely part of the motor shaft. In fact I have never seen it another way. I have taken quite a few routers apart too.
Strip the whole unit apart so you have just the motor armature and shaft. Then it should become apparent how things are.
I bet, like my old Drill Press, it’s press fit onto the shaft and you will need something with some serious force
@Samer_Najia
I bet a router is not like a drill press at all. Well, they both turn around, but past that similarities end.
