HELP NEEDED: i have a davinci 1.0 on repetier firmware and these last few prints have stopped and the extruder had a decouple error. The temp I’m printing at is in the top range of temp the extruder can go. I watched the print this past attempt and it all heated up fine but at the end of the first layer I got this error. Didn’t see any major fluctuations in temp… I’m starting to think that the extruder just can’t keep up at that temp but any other ideas are welcome. Had this error but then it printed 40 hours no problem last week
It’s a safety feature. What’s going on is that Repetier is saying “I should be seeing this temperature, raise by this much, over this time period. If I don’t…something is wrong”.
You can disable this feature in the configuration though, but yeah - largely the reason you’re getting this is because the heater can’t keep up.
@ThantiK what is the feature called? I’m thinking it may be available to change on the eeprom
@Abc_Def I’m not familiar with what it’s called on Repetierhost. Be aware though - this is one of those “burn your house down” type of things. Pay attention to the printer if you disable this setting.
@ThantiK I was just thinking of changing it to be more tolerant of temp change. Definitely wouldn’t turn it off
Nothing is abnormal on the temp graph either…
