Here is a job that suppose be for 45 minutes look like and here what I got.
Looks like you’ve got a lot of overextrusion there. Also, have you taken a look at the gcode? Does it just abruptly end?
Sorry I don’t see anything with gcode on my Makerbot or simplify3d software. I thought I don’t need gcode with these softwares sorry I am a newbie.
Why do you have so much brim for the 2015? I agree with @ThantiK in regards to the over extrustion. Another problem looks to be the the filiament not retracting enough when it travels. Hence the ‘strings’ of plastic. is this the first time it has printed like this?
was this printed on a 5th gen replicator? Try turning off the raft and support option in makerware. There isnt much retraction settings available - you’d have to create a new profile and modify an existing xml. Doesn’t look like it printed the text in the ribbon part - maybe it’s not merged in the STL?
Did you watch this finish or did you leave the room? This looks like the extruder/hot end jammed during the print and the machine finished the motions without extruding plastic.
Brian I left the room.
I also notice the upper 2015 is completely missing. We’ve had similar prints do that when the spiralize feature (“vase mode”) was turned on when it was sliced. We’ve found that often, print problems are really slicing problems, when the slicer generates the gcode.
