No, these are clearly Adafruit shots (you can see a Trinket in one of them, and they’re all taken on the black ground-glass table at Adafruit).

Ebay version of the same… I got these. They work great.

@Justin_Eastman I noticed the specs are 1.71 microseconds per bit. So a bit slower than the ws2811/ws2812 that are 1.25 microseconds.

Do you use FastLED ? They do not list these in the supported chipsets.

Thanks for posting this, I was having trouble finding the diffused version in bulk.

They do work with FASTLED. I use WS2811 chipset in FASTLED. I have not strung together more than two of them but they work great so far.

oh they also sell a 5mm packaging here http://uk.alibaba.com/product/1987657491-5mm-ws2811-addressable-rgb.html. I will probably give it a try. Thanks for the link.
