Here is a test using both the MegaPixel controller and the receiver board. The receiver is 28 ft from the controller connected by cat6. I am using a pc to supply power to the receiver board . This allows 12v or 5v pixels to be easily terminated to the control. The controller hosts the powerful teensy 3.2 and octows2811 components. There are 100 12v ws2811 pixels in this test. The software is Vixen running around 25-33 fps according to status view. I have 32 universes being sent and received in this setup (but only a part of one is actually programmed and connected. The controller uses arduino IDE and treensyduino to program the controllers. This controller uses the powerful fastLED library to translate DMX RGB data using the fastLED version of Octows2811.
Which dmx library did you choose to use?
