Here is my entry in the Laserweb4 contest, #Laserwebcontest

Painted and clock fitting installed. Been testing out Laserweb4 v-carving for the past week so might as well make something I can use.

laserweb4 json v-carve file for any Wings fan!

Steps…
Apply white paint to MDF
Stick on masking. I use Oramask 813 stencil.
Vcarve on CNC with sharp 90degree vbit. I had to do it twice since the first time I used a older vbit and the mask wasn’t cleanly cut.
Paint with red and remove mask, install clock.

Beautiful!!!

Nice job

@funinthefalls If any one is looking for clock movements I have about 2000 in stock at the moment. Give me a shout if you need any.

My clocks are not beautiful like yours.
I will try your technique in my next clock.
Good job.

Outstanding

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

@funinthefalls are you located in the US? I don’t do that many clocks, maybe about 6 a year so I get them at nearest craft store. Maybe others would be interested if they know your location.

@Roberbike in the past I used tape, vinyl shelf liner and other cheaper masking but so far nothing works as well as Oramask. Kinda expensive but well worth the cost for not messing up a project. Good sharp cutters is recommended. I use a vbit that has replaceable carbide inserts.

I am in Niagara Falls Canada
