Here is my solution for my problem a few weeks ago
That is, what can only be described as, ‘desperate’
Have you seen a 144led strip? The gap between is only just over half a mm. And is flexible and reliable and cheap.
Unless you had found a huge bag of free APAs, I can’t ever envision a time when you would need to do that.
My hats off to you for perseverance. Let us know how often you have to repair it.
Lol! it is only because i already have them. I will from now on use the strips
All of them tested and working after this soldering orgy?
@D_Rob That is one UGLY homemade strip!
But I can’t help but salute your patience and skill assembling this… THING!!
I will humbly bow down to you if you ever have them invisibly mounted in something beautiful and all them RGB LEDs with burnt casings working fine at full brightness !!!
Frankenstrip; it lives!!
I think we’ve all done something so tedious only to realize that the juice was not worth the squeeze. At least you got some soldering practice!
Congratulations on the persistence – That’s a whole lotta soldering right there.
