Here is the latest Xmas gift I have been working on. I designed this to look like it was hand carved. Also so the grooves would look like waves. I stained the water and put MANY coats of polyurethane on it. It’s the Great Lakes if anyone was wondering.

@Frank_Graffagnino yes. I applied the blue stain with a small brush, doing my best not to get it on the “land”. After it dried I sanded the top surface to clean up my mistakes.
@nick_wiegand have you tried using a syringe?

@Max_Kalin that’s is a good idea. I’ll have to try that if I have something even finer detail.
@nick_wiegand I tried using syringe with PlastiDip but since it was local one, it was somewhat shitty… I think it was fake. But syringe should give a very neat touch.
