Here is the TEVO Tarantula case (XL edition) from Thingiverse located here (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1760296). I don’t actually have a TEVO Tarantula, I just like the case. It is huge and can accommodate 2 PSUs, 2 boards and a ton of stuff. My plan is to put a C3D Smoothie Remix board in here, and run a custom board so that the printer becomes a largely mechanical device with all the ‘guts’ in here. The only wires between the box and the printer will be a ribbon cable and some power wires. By standardizing my printers this way, I can use a consistent electronic package that is ‘swappable’ among my printers or customizable across the board. I also eliminate the wiring mess that is on boards these days. Yes, it adds more bench space, but a small mod to this allows me to add my RasPi OctoPrint rig to the box and run that off a secondary PSU and battery pack right inside the box (it really has a lot of room). 2 80mm fans provide supplementary airflow through the box. I will replace the original lid with a colored acrylic one because my fans have LEDs in them that will impart a cool and eerie glow from the case that will come out the lid and all the openings. Even if the holes for the Remix don’t line up here, I plan to print a set of spacers, glue them to the walls in the right pattern and mount my Remix there anyway. When I go all metal, I will do the same by epoxying those spacers on the sheet metal or just adding holes for metal standoffs. Next step, use XTC3D to smooth the surfaces and correct my overuse of the BuildTak surface I am slowly wrecking. By the time I am done, all the surfaces will be mirror smooth. Printed on a Printrbot Plus. My thanks to @raykholo and @Griffin_Paquette for their help on the custom board work.

Are they still posting the openbuilds logo in their advertising… I remember a heated discussion about it

Who? Tevo? I don’t see it.
