Here’s a demonstration of the code that Gyro Gearloose (AKA Juergen Bruegl) loosed upon this group last week. I’m gathering other video clips and I plan on making a video intended for a wider audience that shows how I built and programmed the LED installation featured in this video. Thank you @Juergen_Bruegl !

Awesome !!!
I like that wall of APA102’s, very nice touch with the frosted pipes angled into those wall mounts.
Can’t wait to see detailed assembly info for it as well as the mods you have on Juergen’s sketch !
great work will look forward to see the other videos
Here’s the code on hastebin:

@Garrett_Durland , got a warning about potential threats from the hastebin website by windows 10 defender !?
Hope you use gist or pastebin instead !!
Great wall display!
Magnificent! It looks like something out of Star Trek or Forbidden Planet! I want definitely want to build something like that.
Very nice wall display. I can see that being in the W hotel in NYC. I also really enjoyed your pallets and how they would fade together when you switched settings.
@Garrett_Durland Awesome setup! Excellent implementation!! I want one too !!! What did you use for the pipes and diffusors?
Btw, thanks for the compliments
Absolutely RAd! Love it. Totaly looks like a prop from star trek!
What did you use for the diffusers? Did you glue the tubes together? Great Job!
@Jack_Keeney they’re fluorescent tube protectors filled with clear landscaping glass. The tubes are glued to pvc offsets intended for exterior electrical meters (home depot).
@Garrett_Durland special for you:

It’s brilliant!
@Juergen_Bruegl hey thanks! I got the speed slider to appear, but I think I need to use the SPEED variable in place of the Frames per second variable for it to do anything. Also, I think I was experiencing an overflow somewhere, the brightness slider now goes over 100%. I didn’t copy in the code for the Arduino parameter communication.
@Garrett_Durland yep, the overflow was intended. The formula is 1000/FRAMES_PER_SECOND. Your current setting is 200 (=5ms delay); put this on 100%.
Max scale is 400 (=2.5ms delay) - this is 200%. Min scale is 20 (=50ms delay)
@Garrett_Durland
Look: additional SPEED slider !!

@Juergen_Bruegl Awesome setup for using with my Huzzah. Thanks for the hard work and sharing your code. I did notice a typo on the most recent code you shared with the speed slider. There is a = after 600 that would cause the brightness slider to change if the speed set button was clicked a few times. I have deleted the = and it is now working correctly on my board. Again, thanks for sharing. @Garrett_Durland Love your wall. I may be doing something similar in the future.
@Brian_Lewis Thank you for the suggestion. You refer to line 365? I updated the code.
@Juergen_Bruegl Yes that was it. Sorry I didn’t specify in my previous comment.
