Here’s a picture of my partially assembled tree. Ugly as hell for now but wait…
Polk RTi series? It’s the first thing I noticed, I’m a bit of an audio guy. Lol
@Kyle_Halvorson Good eye
They are indeed Polk RTi series. Good performance speakers, mid-range price, nothing spectacular but I am very happy with them !
Nice! I recently started collecting and repairing A/V receivers and speakers. I have a full set of the polk TSi series, (TSi300, 100 and CS10) that I use as my Main setup, I bought them new in open boxes at my local pawn shop for half off retail three years ago and I like them a lot!
eventually I’d like to use a bunch of WS2811s to build basic VU meters to put behind the grilles on all of them.
@Kyle_Halvorson Nice idea… If you end up doing it, make sure that you show it off with detailed assembly, I may try to do something similar in my speakers.
I have a few MSGEQ7 chips and I intended to use one with my Xmas tree to have it react to surrounding sounds but I do not know if I will have the time to complete my tree with all the planned bells and whistles…
