Heres a quick vid of a display I made for easter, one of 2 actually. This is made from a strip of ‘neon flex’ ws2812b leds 300 count taped to a sheet of foamboard. It was a bit pricey but I’ve found it’s a quality item and reused it in a few displays. Next year I’ll add more animations. I am looking for a smaller cross section neon flex strip for future projects it would be nice to have a tighter bend radius and not as stiff to work with. It weighs about 5lbs as well!

That looks quite eggscelent.

Very cool, which neon flex are you using?

But the 5v version is dim in the middle if full white even if powered from both ends so I suggest the 12v version.

Also it’s running from an Adafruit Huzzah Esp8266 breakout board + level shifter module. It runs quite smoothly.

@Stephen_Kramer I’ve got some APA102 neon strip somewhere. I’ve tested it bt not made anything with it yet. I got it from Ray Wu who has a wide range…
