Here’s a video clip showing the flexibility of NinjaFlex flexible filament.
This piece is a key-fob that I printed last night.
It was printed on a Mendel90 at 215C on clean ambient temperature glass.
(My apologies for the vertical video)

What does that even mean I’m a noobi at 3d printing
@Cole_Lanning Sorry, please be more specific, What don’t you understand?
This is really cool. Any issues when swapping between different filament? Whats the shore hardness?
When swapping from a filament like ABS, it’s important to flush out all the old filament, especially if it’s a higher temp filament.
Because after the hobbed gear, you are pushing a flexible filament, any obstruction between the hobbed gear and the melt chamber, can cause it kink up in the feed tube.
I believe that it’s SHORE 85A
Thats not bad. Its about as strong as a pencil eraser. Would be nice to print handle covers or something. Do you need a fan for this? Wondering how it will perform during overhangs
No fan needed.
Overhangs seem similar to ABS. They don’t come out too well though if you’re printing too hot.
The Shore A Durometer specification only describes a materials flexibility/compressibility.
As far as strength or toughness, it’s much stronger than pencil eraser… Maybe more like car tire rubber… nearly impossible to tear
Thanks for the video! Convinced me to buy a spool
amazing!
Where can this amazing stuff be purchased and what sizes is it available in?
Ah yes you re right. Was looking at the wrong shore scale.
Is this where you got it? Might give it a shot!

<3 the apology
Awesome piece!
@Chris_Lau Yes, that’s it. Also, I emailed them to suggest that they consider selling high performance timing belts in common 3D printer sizes.
I don’t understand how it’s flexible after printing or at all
