Here's my first big led project for my decoration association.

Here’s my first big led project for my decoration association. Thanks to all of you for your work and inspiration

WOW! Looks GREAT!
What microcontroller are you using there? And is it sync’d to sound, or just innately awesome?

Thanks
I’m using a Teensy 3.1. Not yet sync’d to sound. I really would like to make it react to music but there is a lot of work to do it!

Oh that’s great! Where is this running at? I’d love to see it in person if possible

(sad that it’s lacking in sound - but it goes nicely with the new aphex twin album here

I think it’s a little bit far for you to see it since I’m living in France, near Bordeaux
I did cut the sound because the video is taken with my phone so the sound is really bad but here’s the artist who was playing at this time : https://soundcloud.com/penta

I’d happily go to Bordeaux! Never been to the Atlantic coast of France… Then I could go and visit my very favorite Iberian “dual principality”, too!

I saw the Wave function posted here! NICE!

I’m only Amsterdam so I could come and see :-). Is it permanently installed in a club, or just set up for one gig? From a rough count I reckon on about 500-600 LEDs?

@Mark_Kriegsman Atlantic coast is great but even better in Summer!

@Jon_Burroughs Yes! Thanks to @Dave_Morgan for the code of this effect !

@Robert_Atkins Oh yes not too far  It’s not permanent, but I think we will show it at every next parties we will decorate. You can follow us on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CosmoVisionDeco)
The project was to have 576 leds but here are 2 triangles missing so only 480

This is awesome! This is all just one Teensy? Does each triangle have its own data line?

@Ryan_Clough Thanks  Yes there is one teensy to manage all the structure but I didn’t want to solder on it’s back so I used the OctoWS2811 shield. There are 2 triangles per data line and I can’t wait to have parallel output in FastLED to get it faster

Damn, that is sweet.
