Here's our post on Clint O'Connor 's amazing  project.

Here’s our post on @Clint_O_Connor 's amazing #3Dprinting project. Most certainly will be buying the STL files to try out. Check out their community on G+ too, well worth a look.

Still dont understand this project. A plastic pinhole holga is $30. I can see printing a camera if you have a printer and need a weekend project but if all you want is a janky plastic camera the holga is the way to go.

@Brian_Evans As with most 3d printing projects, its the journey that counts.

Why bother making lasagne yourself when you can buy it complete with added horse meat in for less? I agree with Shachar it is the journey that counts.

@Brian_Evans I modified a few Holgas into pinhole cameras and posted how to do it - it was page 1 ranked in Google for years. The site’s off the Internet now but still on the wayback machine - http://web.archive.org/web/20120130102204/http://www.argonauta.com/html/holga_cameras.htm

The Holga makes a terrible pinhole camera, in fact, it’s a terrible camera. They’ve done a brilliant job in marketing the negatives of the camera, however. It’s a textbook case on how to do so.

The point of Flyer was to make a pinhole camera to bring people back into film photography, using a 3D printer to make it reproducible in low volume. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out and quite a few backers have told me they are getting back into film as a result. That’s all good.
