Here’s something for all designers/tinkers/makers/$creative_minds:
drummroll The renown #purmundus_challenge_2014 ! This year’s motto is “Print up your life – How does 3D printing change our world?”.
Just submit your project or concept till October 1st. The winning entries (there’s prize money and tons of fame) are announced during #EuroMold2014 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Yep - the first five get an offer to be included in the purmundus road show (they often have the biggest booths on several 3DP and design shows) + the possibility to sell those designs in the shop.
Full terms are provided here, where also the entry fees are specified (which I really forgot to mention, because of the intended audience…): Young talents, makers, students, etc. --> free of charge, young design offices --> 200 €, established design offices --> 450 €. @Domani_Design_Devils nope, if it was like you want to put it (probably based on personal experiences with other events like this) I would not accept my jury nomination.
Knowing Chris Völcker and his team personally I think to know their motivation. It’s all based upon a strong fascination for 3DP technique, enthusiasm for beautiful design and last but not least: the strong will to give great artists, designers, etc. a proper stage for their work.
Any chance you’re on-site for #EuroMold2014 in Frankfurt? I’m pretty sure you would second my opinion when seeing their booth and meeting the team.
