Hey all, what fonts do you find print best?

Hey all, what fonts do you find print best? Looking for ideal stand alone font for single letters, also ideal font for embossed or extruded text on a flat background.

Thanks! #3dprintingfonts

Autodesk Inventor defaults to tahoma which has worked well enough for me.

Font selection is important, but the way you print it is more important. Inset letters generally print better than extruded ones, and letters that are on the side of a print (in the orientation that the part is printed) will have better detail than ones that are on the top or bottom of the print.

I’ve occasionally wondered if there’s a font optimized for 3D printing, but I’ve never found one.

I like Nasalization, as it lets you do every letter with negative space. No disconnected bodies. Except for ‘O’ but there a big hole still works.

Arial Bold works well.

Thanks guys, I’ll give these a look tonight.

@Chapman_Baetzel fun font, Thanks for sharing

I find anything that’s block bold works. I’ve used several in that style for various things.
