I am having very deep interest in 3d printing technology and i have done various courses via University of Illinois. I have very little hands on experience in 3d printer as where i live 3d printer are not very commonly used or we can say like folks don’t know about it. As i am a college student i need to do a project on any of my topic of interest and i am interested in 3D Printing. Now here is the issue i am interested in 3D Printing but i am not getting what field i should choose in this vast area of interest. I can go for product design, implementing of technology, supply chain of printed goods, cost reduction methods, material for printing etc. So if you find yourself that you can help me out please comment below that what should i do ?
FYI i am pursuing Mechanical Engineering
I searched many websites and community but didn’t found any place where i can ask this so i posted here between some great minds of world
Thanks for reading this verrrrryyy long post

I bet product design would be fun. I currently work as a mechanical engineer primarily for automotive stuff but we have a 3d printer that we will often use to print prototypes for our customers. Everything we do is custom so it makes since that we have a printer. It’s faster and cheaper than trying to have metal parts made.
