Hey folks,

can someone recommend me an affordable deltaprinter?
it should be assembled or a kit, at least have 26cm build height and cost less than 2500€ / $3100 and of course print quite well…

i’ve had a look at: http://www.deltamaker.com
but they are too small ‘just’ 26cm build height. Any experiences; is the printquality good?

I also looked at: http://shop.deltatower.ch
which has a whooping 56cm build height! but costs also a whooping sum of ~7000€

Or do you have recommendations for Rostock build kits?

there are many kossel mini variant kits for around $600. mine is only 235mm high…some variants could be a bit taller

26cm build height is pretty good. Are you looking for a specific size for a reason, or are you just looking for the biggest size you can afford? Giant parts will take a long time to build.

@Jeff_DeMaagd I’m aware of the long print times. But I have a specific usecase in mind, where it would be beneficial to have a print height of >=30cm.

tread carefully. There are a lot of deltabots out there. I’m not sure how many of them are calibrated carefully enough to produce parts for other machiens

The BI 2.5 printers are just starting to ship the Kickstarter ones. They are 3-4 weeks out on those, so any new orders would be behind those. Looking forward to getting mine.
