Hey folks, I’m wondering do any of you have experience with the pico hotend? Thinking about purchasing it.
Only experience with the E3D here. Everyone I know that’s bought a pico, or a hexagon, or any other hot end in the all-metal category has always had issues with it. The E3D has been flawless for me and many others, especially since the v6 release.
Hrmm I’m gonna have to think real hard on this one. The v6 heat break broke twice on me but I have no pico info on performance
@ThantiK actually I’ve had pretty good run with hexagons, still want to give it some hard times before the final verdict, but as much info as i have up to now might have just the sweet spot over e3d, especially with PLA. But as said, too soon to tell, my e3d`s have over 4000 hours of tough labor behind and there is very little cons about it, but just saying hexagon is not a bad product at all, cant go wrong with it. About pico dont have any clue, but surely looks nice, dont know if it works as nice though.
Yes, I think the looks got me. And I’m just making excuses to make the purchase now.
