Hey gang for a long time now I’ve ditched springs for bed levelling and went with rigid manual bed. And I can say if you can build your printer levelled, perpendicular and parallel it will be your best decision.

Granted my bed size is “relatively” small so it’s easier to make sure everything is 90° the bed on mine is removeable by 2 M5 screws I put a small magnet in the middle and bigger neo magnet sticked to the back of FSR sensor. This sensor just snap in place in the middle for the two nozzle to touch it one by one. No Z offset between the two nozzles required

I then set the Z trigger height accordingly. It’s about 10mm

Springs are only needed because they over constrain the bed by using four screws instead of three. And one of the three can be fixed, such that only two adjustable attachment points is needed.
