hey guys, do you know of any good tools/ways to get PLA off of an ultimaker bed (it uses blue painters tape)

Knife

Specifically, a thin-bladed knife. My Swiss Army knife works great for my small print bed.

I use something like this:

At @deltamaker we use a painters knife like this: http://cdn1.stuff4painting.com/catalog/product/cache/5/image/370x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/4/5/455966.jpg - Broad base, very thin edge, sturdy metal, great for popping prints off the bed.

Use a tiny artists pallet knife or cricut spatula. Its very thin. But more importantly, adjust the first layer height so it isn’t squished that low. I own several. http://www.amazon.com/Cricut-29-0099-Spatula-Tool/dp/B000NP1ESO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1386132644&sr=8-2&keywords=cricut+tools

I use spat-type tool like above. That’s why I moved from ‘blue tape’ to ‘glue slurry’. Ease of removal and quicker bed prep. For me that is.

've Seen somewhere that someone stuck the (glass) table in a few mm of water for a few minutes.
