Hey guys, does anyone know a project where I can reuse printrbot simple part with xl add ons to build a larger printer with printed parts?

Anything larger is going to need longer smooth rods. If you’re willing to add them to the mix, you could try a small delta design.

Then again, you could just print the parts from iamjonlawrence on T-verse, and add some longer smooth rods to make your PrintrBot Simple print larger. Mine is currently capable of about 200x200x100 prints (extended X and Y, switched to belt drive).

There is a delta designed to use most of the parts from a Simple makers kit… But really, any printer design needs these parts.
