The 8825 will step at 32 vs 16.
Machine runs smoother. Make sure you cool them with a fan.
I’ve heard the DRV8825 is quieter than A4988, too. However, you might want to consider Trinamic drivers.
I have two machines… one with drv8825s in and one with 4988s in and I can definitely say the dev8825s are a lot quieter… just make sure you put them in your ramps board the right way up as the pots go the opposite way round to the 4988s of which I found after frying two… ha
The drv8825 gives you smoother motion because of the higher microstepping ratio, which usually means quieter operation. With some motor/supply voltage combinations, they have a tendency to emit a hogh-pitched hum while idling that some find annoying.

Short answer you won’t have any problems with the a4988
