Hey guys, I want the support structures to go faster, I’m guessing that I need to adjust the “Support Structure Underspeed”. My question is do I make the value higher, or lower?
PS: this is for simplify3D

If I understand the tool tips correctly and with the limited research just performed, you’ll use the figure as a percentage of the main extrusion speed. If your figure, for example, is 40 mm / sec and your SSU is set to 80%, the speed will drop to 32 mm / sec. You can’t (or maybe you can) set it higher than 100% if you want faster.

@Fred_U So what you’re saying is that, the higher the number the faster the toolhead moves?

@Max_Moors Sure, that’s how I see it. Anything higher than 100% will make the support run faster than the main body extrusion.

@Fred_U is correct, the value “Support Structure Underspeed” is a percentage of the default speed so by increasing this percentage increases the print speed of the supports. You can go above 100% if you want to print supports faster than the default speed.

@Adam_Steinmark OK awesome, thanks
