Hey guys I’m having some issues getting my Shaeoko 3 to play nicely with Chilipeppr. It was working a few months ago but I took a break and I came back and now it wont job. I tried and updated to Grbl 1.1 and everything went good with that. The system works if I hook it up directly to my windows PC and use carbid3d. I’m using the jpadie work space and it appears that my machine connects because it gives me all the settings of my machine when it connects but I can’t job or get the machine to reposed at all.
Any thoughts of things I could try to get it running?
The workspace appears to be communicating just fine with the grbl controller.
So if your machine is not responding then it looks like there is a comms issue between the controller and the motor drivers. Or the motors are stuffed.
Although I’m surprised that the gcode status is repeating so frequently. Sjps should normally suppress resending no-change information. Perhaps an artefact of 1.92 on the raspberry pi.
Like I said I can control it using other software. I’ll try updating json and try again when I get home
Ok I did a reinstall of JSON and it works now… weird. Thanks for the help guys!
