hey guys. I’ve noticed that my printer has been getting louder and I can see that is from my rails. would I be ok if I used paintball marker oil to lubricate my rails?
From what I’ve seen, including my Flux Delta and Emblaser Laser Cutter, a PTFE based grease is the suggested lubricant. I’ve found the lowest price at the local plumbing supply shop in a product called Plumber’s Grease. Not an elegant name, but the same stuff that shipped with my printer and laser cutter, but possibly without the high price.
Here’s a Home Depot source:

thanks. ive also heard that sewing machine oil works well. know anything about that.
@Matthew_Del_Rosso I use it
@Javier_Prieto that stuff is just like paintball marker oil right? looks the same from what ive see too.
It shouldn’t be an issue. I would recommend sewing machine oil or super lube but I’ve never had any real issues with mine.
