Hey guys looking for some opinions. I need to print an enclosure for my PCB to fit on to a fedora with a strip of LEDs going around it but i want something that will look like a decoration and not something out of place. Any opinions on what would look good?
That would depend on the PCB.
2 AAA batteries as the power supply
Print a hollow bow tie, fit it on the side of the hat.

Another alternative that does not require any printing is to use a regular 2x AAA battery holder, glue the PCB on them, use velcro and stick it on the inside of the hat, on the top (so it sits on top of your head.)
I guess a bow tie would look good

I haven’t seen your hat but from my experience with caps, you can make everything invisible by using thin LiPo batteries and sewing/hot glueing/velcro everything inside the hat
I ran into a guy at Oakland Precompression with a different approach. He got two hats, cut the brim off one , nested the crowns, and put his controller and battery holder in between the crowns…not sure how it was attached, but at least it didn’t sit on his head.
Yeah I had mine on the inside of the hat. It was just the bare board thou not an enclosure. Not too comfortable
