My friend recently bought a 8x4 Ft 130W acrylic laser cutter. The manufacturer says it can cut 22 gauge stainless steel, we haven’t tried it yet but is it possible and if can it be used to cut 3mm aluminum.
Most likely not. Aluminum is quite hard to laser cut as it is very reflective, it’s easier to cut steel in many cases.

As long as the product doesn’t reflect the laser or have a UV coating, I would think that a laser capable of cutting 22 gauge stainless steel would cut through 3mm aluminum without a problem.
