Hey guys = quick question. I am running GRBL 1.1 with $32 set to 1. When I try to engrave this 2017 text at a certain power level, it does the curved parts quite nice, but for the straight lines, it moves the laser faster, so it doesn’t engrave the line (see photo). Am I missing a setting? I can up the power on the laser, but then of course the curves will be burned more. The text is just an SVG with vectors. Thanks for any help - the new interface is awesome!

I normally leave support issues to others, but since it’s quiet tonight and I accidentally posted that reply to your thread I’ll try to help. Try increasing acceleration. If that doesn’t help then try the “segment” option in the Laser Cut operations.
Make sure you use M4 not M3! And go slower. With my 5.5W diode laser the max feed is aroudt 30mm/s (=1800mm/min).
