Hey guys. What are the max feed rates that the r7 can do? Just trying to set up my new machine parameters.

I am pretty new but here is my two cents. Max scrolling around the table 1200 mm/min. The motors will go faster but for me it was hard to get the Y-screws to hold tension for long periods. I don’t cut any faster than 600 mm/min. That being said, I can run much faster if I am meticulous about setting up the screw tensions and block tensions. As far as Z goes it does not do much good to run really fast so I run about half of my XY speeds. Make sure the Z motor stays energized as it will slip. I energize all motors for 3 min but if you turn off your machine when not in use you can leave the motors energized all the time. Sometimes I fall asleep while the job is running so I don’t do that.

There is a place where people have published their $$dumps but I have not really looked for it. I would like to copy someone’s jerk velocities as I have not played with it yet.
