Hey guys. Whats your opinion?
This is good! Nice work
@Markus_Granberg
Thank your sir
May i suggest a cable strain relief for zip tie?

Nice idea. But I would rather do it all around so its easier to print
I miss a notch for correct alignment/polarity. Twisted pins don’t satisfy me…
@Rene_Jurack ok thats a point. But its very hard to kink them over. The alignment is done by 90 degree turns on the terminals. But yeah I should add it
I really really like it
Nice, I might incorporate this idea into a case I’m making (If I do I’ll share the credit)
@Matt_Shepherd Its https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
Would be very nice if you would credit my work
Like to see it implemented
@Rene_Jurack
Just updated them to keyed ones.
very nice! i’ve actually ordered some crimp connectors over the weekend, will give the x3 one a try when they get here.
Can you print these on a 3D printer with ABS or PLA? Not knowing much about this, I imagine those would break when crimped because of the layering.
Or are these to hold crimped pins, and you don’t crimp these things themselves?
@Justin_McGrath um your not suppost to crimp the print. You use crimp terminals to put them into the print
Got it. Nice thing.
really cool- yeah better quick connectors that connect and disconnect without any struggle are definitely needed in 3D printing and electronics in general.
@Ted_Huntington
Yes. Got some you can buy and they are good and also smaller than these here cause injectionmolding. But they are a lot more expensive and also if you need just 2 or 3 shipping gets you. For me the idea of a 3D Printer is not printing statues but printing practical things and mechanical things you really need and really use
And also you dont have to drive anywhere to get it or order it
This is fantastic. Not sure nobody thought of doing this before.Way to go!
…but first I need to print a tool to crimp the terminals properly
