I want to replace my stock hotend from my anet a8. Any suggestions?

There’s different kinds to choose from. Do you want to go Bowden or direct drive?

@_Spice could you explain what the difference between those two are? I pretty new to this

Just informed myself. I think direct drive is the right for me.

Depends on what materials you want to print with. If your choice of temp is below 250deg, get an E3d Lite 6. Or if you want to print upto 300deg then select E3d V6

V6 all the way, even better pair it with a bondtech qr or bmg and you will never have a problem.

Well I will go with the E3D lite V6 I guess.

The lite 6 is different from the V6. If you are willing to spend the extra money, go for the full V6

The lite V6 doesnt heat up as much as the full V6. So youre limited to lower temperature filaments such as PLA

It might work. I dont print with ABS thou i stick to PLA and PETG

No. If you want to do ABS/PETG just go for the full V6
