Hey Jon Burroughs ...

Hey @Jon_Burroughs … did USPS deliver today? Are you quiet because you’re playing with (bright) light?

Funny story, the neighbor backed into our mailbox last week (leveled it, poor thing) so the office has been keeping our mail. I’ll check it on Monday and get back to you.

LOL! Stop pissing off the neighbors. :slight_smile:

I finally picked up the package! At first look, it seems you didn’t screw me over :wink: Now, to add power…

Why would I? :slight_smile: 5V, plenty of amps, CLK, DI, start sending data …

Just jokes, however, since I’m new to SPI based chipsets, what pins go where? SCK to SCK, and DI to MISO?

That’s the data pin. So if you’re using the SPI port, it goes to MOSI, or [M]aster [O]ut [S]lave [I]n. If you’re bitbanging, it will be whatever data pin you’re using.

MISO = [M]aster [I]n [S]lave [O]ut

I’m pretty sure I ran this on them as a test: http://pastebin.com/uCwsmHjy

Everything is great. I have light. The diffused/milky LED’s are really neat. They seem to be easier to look directly at, under moderate brightness. Thanks Ashley!

Try running them at full brightness. :slight_smile:

I did, HOLY COW. I loaded the first sketch at full brightness accidentally. I’m still seeing dots…

They can be bright. :slight_smile:
