Hey there!

I was inspired from @Jason_Coon Fibonacci art so I decided to make one myself!

Here’s a protoype running Jason’s esp8266-fastled-webserver

I have tried porting his other versions to the ESP8266 But haven’t had much success yet because I want to integrate the ESP8266 fastled Webserver he has and I haven’t had much time to polish all the errors I have caused butchering his code trying to port it. I have some ideas on how I can make it an easier port just haven’t had much time!

Thanks to @Jason_Coon for the inspiration and code! You’re the best!
Uses 100 WS2182B String LED’s ( Actually ws2811, Typo)
NodeMCU ESP8266
Powered by a 5V 12A 60W Power supply

Great prototype! Is that a pizza box?

Are those really WS2182B string/node/bullet style LEDs? All of the ones I find in that form factor are actually WS2811, with the chip separate from the LED. Just curious.

Looking forward to seeing more!

Ha yes it is a pizza box! I used it because it was easy to prototype it and didn’t have much time and I wanted to test it out!

Honestly I don’t think they are ws2812B I ordered these LEDS from amazon
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B4UKG2W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There’s some sort of clear epoxy or glue stuff at the base of the plastic housing and I didn’t want to go through and have to gouge out the glue and mistakenly break one of the wires. The plastic housing is not translucent enough for me to make out the Chip number.
And after writing this post I noticed I ordered ws2811, woops wrong title lol ( I did put ws2811 in the code though)

Cool, no worries, was just curious. I’m always watching for other LED types in the 8mm non-waterproof or 12mm waterproof form.
