Hey there! Ok I’m a total newb to this Arduino world, only receiving my first kit back in August, but I’m loving it. I’ve really been into Neopixels and wearable projects, getting most of my components from Adafruit. I found the FastLED library today and tried some of the sample project and I love what I’m seeing. Here’s my question: Is there a document somewhere that tells me about all the available commands? I’m reading through the sample code and trying to decipher it all. Appreciate anyone’s help
There’s the wiki - http://FastLED.io/wiki - and there’s the docs - http://FastLED.io/docs/3.1 (both referenced in the info for this community and on http://FastLED.io which the readme directs to)
Thank you, I appreciate your help
There’s certainly a lot to the library. I’ve been giving a lot of thought to how to better present it to people, both new and experienced.
In the meantime - feel free to ask questions here, or there’s an active chat room at http://fastled.io/chat - we will always try to be helpful (and not just @Mark_Kriegsman and myself - one of the things I love about this community is how much everyone here helps everyone else out
Thank you for your quick reply @Daniel_Garcia . I’ve been reviewing the documentation and playing with the code, its quite fun. I guess what I’m looking for is a document of all the commands available to me with your library. For example, rainbow(), EVERY_N_MILLISECONDS, fadetoblackby, etc. I just don’t know what some of the variables do. Also, if I knew all the available commands, it could enlighten me about everything that is possible. Just a newbie thought. Appreciate your help.
