Hi 3D printers I need your help… I’m trying to decide between the Flashforge Creator Pro and the Delta WASP 2040…help!
I’m curious too! Been looking at the Flash Forge Creator Pro also.
I think the flashforge Creator Pro is amazing, a wide variety of materials, amazing quality, dual extruder but just 40-150 mm/sec!
While the Delta goes as fast as 600mm/sec…we need help
Be careful, there is a great difference between travel and printing speed!
I have a delta printer. Would I have bought one knowing what I know now? No. http://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/2kcwyq/delta_vs_cartesian/
But first you need to answer a question. “What do I intend to print with it?” And I’m talking about type of 3D objects as well as materials.
Wow it seems that the Delta is a tricky printer. I’m not an expert in 3D printing, actually this would be my first one, but I want to get the best…Re what Am I going to print? Well, a bit of everything, I want to explore the prop-making industry as well as , some product prototyping …I would say that volume is not of my major concerns ,but speed is top on my list… what would you suggest? Thanks
Flashforge. One of the most reliable printers I’ve ever owned. Delta printers are not recommended for beginners.
I would bet a huge sum of money that it cannot print at 600mm/s. I would bet that while printing it can move at 40-100mm/s
The reason is melting plastic takes time. This is a half truth that many makers choose to omit because they are looking to set themselves apart.
Slices typically minimize the about of extra moves so the about of time it would move a 600mm/s is small, but the time it is limited by the extruder is huge.
The community has spoken…Flashforge Creator Pro here I go!! Thank you soooo muuch… you’ve been a great help to me. Thanks!
