HI, again I’m in trouble with sliding layers… in photos you can see, about at half on the pice, a layer a bit deeper , that’s the XY side of the piece; following photos are relative to sideYZ and ZX, and the last one is the Z side, where you can see a single filament detached from the body, it’s the protrudig portion of the same layer; I used a low speed slicing profile : (mm/sec) perimeter 40, infill 60, travel 80, first layer 50%, solid infill 80%, top solid infill 50%; I’m using slic3r on a Kossel, arduino mega + ramps1.4, PLA 1.75. I can’t figure out what’s happening, I thought about loosing steps, but it’s no possible, because of the other layers are ok and well sorted on the body. Thanks everybody
Adding some images of Your system may shed some light on the issue. Perhaps when the height rises the machine is encumbered with additional weight that makes it lose steps for a moment? Have You tried lowering the movement speed?
I don’t think so, belt are well tensioned, no backlash, motors are 2.5 A drived with 1.8 A to not warm a4988 too much, the chip’s dissipators are always cold, how may I insert a photo here in the comment?
many thanks, I had set no acceleration in slic3r, I’ll try
