hi all,
I am doing some planning here and there, and i am thinking about a controller for some projects. Going with an arduino mega and an arduino nano (2 projects, different amount of leds, so different memory needs), my main question is in regards to the wiring.
As I need to have a wireless wall switches, which would turn on/off the step down transformer (220v to 5v), so at the 220v side, i was wondering if this could affect the arduino ? i.e. turning it off/on suddenly and abruptly would damage it ?
what would you then recommend if this is not good for the arduino and for the led stripes ?
PS: I need an arduino to control some effects and use the fastled library.
tl;dr : I have to use a step down transformer 220v to 5v with a wireless switch (i.e. i have neutral and live lines coming out of a wall, thats all) and I dont have a wall plug, so what would be the best wiring to do to avoid damaging the arduino and led stripes.
