Are you in a hurry? If not, check out http://fabtotum.com. Awesome looking machine, not only printer but cnc mill and 3d scanner. Fits into your budget, made in Italy and soon to be shown at maker faire rome… They just finished development and started shipping.

As always, i’d recommend staying away from unproven newcomers, especially when buying your first printer. There’s just too many things that can go wrong there. The Ultimaker Original is a very solid printer fitting well into your budget: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzF96Arz9cA

You could also consider a printrbot metal. The assembled one should fit easily within your budget, even with shipment and taxes, leaving some money to get some spare parts if desired

I second @Jean-Marc_Lugrin : With Printrbot Simple Metal you can’t go wrong. Superb price-value-relation and a nice and customer focussed company.

3Dhubs is a nice concept, but not something you can make money from. I’ve had an account for many months now and have not received a single job or even an inquiry.
As far as the Printrbot Simple Metal goes, it’s a decent printer (and available from European resellers like http://3ddinge.de), but it does have a couple minor drawbacks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca53b55_Cj8

Hi Luca, if you want to buy Italian products you should check WASP and Sharebot. I have not personally used them but only heard good impressions about them (also they fit in the budget)
