Hi all, I’m going to be assembling my R7 very be soon and was curious what people are using for a workbench / tabletop for the unit? What is the minimum mounting footprint (actually 48"x48" or slightly smaller?)

Here is my table:

It can be slightly smaller, but not a bunch smaller. I have a top view model of the exact dimensions of the unit somewhere… But right now I only have my phone with me.

This is pretty much what I envisioned making, thanks!

I’ve got it on a 4x4 and that’s about minimum. I have about 3 inches on each side to spare

I’ve seen a lot of people mounting theirs on a various versions of torsion boxes. Since the R7 is mounted directly to the spoiler board, a lot of it’s strength comes from the mounting. Make sure it’s level and doesn’t flex too much.

Since we are on the subject, does anybody have any recommended wall-mount work platforms? I inherently wanted to put the back side against the wall, but since I’m leaning towards Vectric software I was considering mounting one of the sides along the wall, giving me the option of feeding extra long work pieces through the R7.

I’m going to be putting the R7 in my crawlspace. I have limited access to heated locations (living in North Pole AK), So its dry and heated.
