Hi all. I’m now calibration my DIY large Delta printer. As expected, it’s not easy.
I measured DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET very carefully, but traveling sideways there is a huge up-down motion. According to the calibration guide everyone seems to refer to (http://minow.blogspot.ca) I’m suppose to change DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET until I get a strait sideways travel.
It seems I have to change DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET by a large factor, about %20, to get it right. Does that make sense ?
Is there a trick to measure small variation in height during sideways travel ?
Any other tips would be appreciated.
