Hi all, my prints are getting worse over the weeks and I don’t know why. The layers are not exactly over each other like you can see in the picture.
It seems to be random. I suspect that my belts are a bit too loose.
Any other ideas?

Humidity issues, room temperature, both could affect printing.

Thanks so far. I have a fan standing beside it. I am printing belt tensioners, decrease the temps and try again.

I had exactly that problem, turned out my bed was loose. I’d guess its definitely something loose, either the bed, extruder, belt, pully something like that.

Good place to start, Daniel.

what hotend are you using ?

I did some adjustments:
-lowering printing temperature
-tighten all screws of the machine
-added belt tensioner

The hotend is one of those cheap things you get with the makerbot clones

I had the same problem with mi e3d v6 and I fixed it following this video

Layer lines not lining up is generally a sign that something is loose. Check pulley set-screws, check that your hot end doesn’t wobble in the holder, check that your bed isn’t wobbling. Additionally, check that your bed temp is stable (if you have a heated bed) as heating up/cooling down can cause the bed to warp up/down squishing your layer lines and giving this effect.

Try using some new (sealed) filament. It’s possible yours has absorbed a lot of moisture.

Thanks for all the advice.
I replaced the hotend barrel, nozzle and heating brick. The nozzle I use now is a .5mm one. I think the old nozzle is blocked, because the .5mm one extruded waaay better.
I wasn’t able to print a benchy yet, but I printed a g-clamp. I think the issue got better, but it is not perfect still, however I was printing at 250% speed.
