Hi all

Not able to get the grbl widget to change it’s State to on-line.

Any advice will be appreciated!

I initially thought that the lack of connection was due to the spjs widget not recognizing the Mega board, but John advised me that this is not required.

By the Way, Grbl for the Mega is version 1.1e.

grbl 1+ changed it’s message structure. I’ve got a version in testing that should be compliant but i won’t be able to test properly until tomorrow. you can try it at http://chilipeppr.com/jpadie

i have not yet implemented the new native jogging commands in grbl 1. they should be easy to do however.

@Luca_Nervetti also appears to be developing something very similar in terms of grbl 1+ compliance. you might also try his workspace.
