Short Question ,
Is it possible to drive an APA102 or at least a 2812 strip using an ESP-01 , is it needed to disable serial rx and tx pins ?

thanks Juergen , i assume it is a 2812 type in your picture ( 3 pins strip) , is it possible also to use APA102 ( 4 pins strips) , probably using Gpio02 and Gpio0 ?

Not that I know of. If you need APAs you should use ESP07 (Nodemcu or Feather)
