hi all ! trying to find ws2811 led strip, 60leds/meter, 5m, ip67, individually adresable (not 3 by 3), 12 or 5v. I checked on alibaba but they are either super expensive, or 3 by 3. Would like it either delivered to France, or to Singapore (depends on delivery fees). Do you have any suggestions please ? (with direct links, as some vendors have pages and pages of products, and I don’t find alibaba easy to filter and find) Thanks in advance !!

The individually-addressable strips are called WS2812, not WS2811. WS2811 is the separate chip which is used to drive groups of three LEDs.

@Michel_G_Khoury , it really depends on your goals and power sources. Larger installations benefit from 12V strip because you can space your power connections farther apart (because the higher voltage allows for more watts per amp). Some animations, particularly slower ones, won’t look as good on the 12V strip because they’re only addressed in groups of three.
I ignored that and used 5V strip for the Tripper Trapper (a 10m long, 3m-wide tunnel) because I wanted the tighter 1-LED resolution, and while it is possible, it adds a lot of complexity – especially if your main power source is already 12V (as it was with the Trapper’s solar storage).
@Michel_G_Khoury hi ws2812 is use ws2811 IC but can individually controll, if you buy from Chinese factory directly, it’s very cheap. for 60led/m ip67, only need $6.25. it’s 5V
