Autodesk Recap360 is a tool that does a similar job. However, i expect them to use a specialized piece of software to get that level of detail.

I’ve used http://insight3d.sourceforge.net/ and http://ccwu.me/vsfm/, both with… mixed results. But it’s been a while, so maybe it’s easier now…

@Thai_Vu it has the same functionality as Recap, but a lot more bugs.

VisualSVM is open source and does this as well.

Agisoft photos can is far and away the best.

Edit got results with VisualSFM, guess you made a typo?
