Hi everybody, I’m trying to find a solution for modeling based on programming. I have my design ready but I need to build a modular system that will use my already designed core.

Any suggestion are appreciated

+1 OpenSCAD

Understood thanks. Does anyone have experience with opanscad?

There’s also ImplicitCAD, which is based on Haskell, and Sketchup has a Ruby API built in. So it all depends on what your programming tastes and design needs are.

Openscad is annoying in a bunch of ways (convoluted syntax, basic functions with not quite enough flexibility, sometimes slow) but it’s reliable and you can build useful stuff in it. It also has a bunch of useful libraries.
